Forbeck Forums are small and intimate meetings for open discussion, sharing and collaboration – a ‘think tank’ for cancer research. Forum requests are open to all past participants of Forbeck Forums. The unique format of this forum results in informal, open discussion and debate with a diverse group of researchers. It is not a place to present already published results. Follow up topics to previous forums are encouraged as well.
Logistics of the forum will be handled by the Foundation to minimize the burden of organizing a forum. Topic, participants and scientific direction of the forum are the focus of the chairs.
The Scientific Advisory Board of WGFRF will oversee the approval of the forums and participant lists.
Before submitting your request, please check our current forums and past forums to avoid any duplicates.
Did you know that Forbeck Scholars have the unique opportunity to attend additional Forums beyond their primary Forum and the Scholar Retreat? This opportunity to attend an additional Forum is designed to give you an opportunities to meet with other researchers that align with your research interests and goals. We encourage you to review the list of our upcoming Forums and consider whether attending one could benefit your work.
Before submitting your request, please check our current forums to learn more about each one.
